Smoked,Fried Chicken Recipe

Out of this world recipe for a fried chicken like no other! I smoked this chicken on my Big Green Egg, then it was breading and fried, Southern style!

Greg: El Cajon (San Diego County), CA, United States; I grew up (and live in) southern California. My grandmother came from Missouri, so maybe that's where I got my love for real Southern BBQ. I keep my BBQ pretty traditional. I cook LOW and SLOW over real wood. My favorites for smoking are, apple, pecan, hickory and alder. I really enjoy coming up with my own sauces, and often throw in a couple of twists (the SoCal in me)...
