Cleaning & Maintaining Your Cast Iron Grate
I know this post will seem very boring to those that do not own a cast iron grill, but I have received numerous messages regarding caring for a cast iron cooking grate. I shot a video of how I take care of mine, as well as how to get rid of rust and re-season the grate.

How long until the rust starts to show if you not use it?
I have just bought the big one :)

Rust can start overnight with cast iron. That's why it is so important to keep it oiled.
